Israel Emergency Numbers
Emergency pages are high-stakes. Save these numbers offline, verify current official guidance before travel, and follow instructions from local authorities during incidents.
Critical numbers to save
| Service | Number | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Police | 100 | Immediate danger, crime, threats, or police response. |
| Magen David Adom ambulance | 101 | Medical emergency and ambulance dispatch. |
| Fire and Rescue | 102 | Fire, rescue, trapped people, hazardous incidents. |
| United Hatzalah | 1221 | Volunteer emergency medical response. Call 101 for official ambulance dispatch. |
| Home Front Command | 104 | Civil defence information and emergency guidance. |
| ERAN emotional first aid | 1201 | Mental health and emotional crisis support. |
Tourist and visitor safety notes
Give your location first. If you do not know the Hebrew address, give the hotel, landmark, junction, beach, station, or map pin. Ask someone nearby to speak Hebrew if needed, but stay on the line yourself if you are the witness.
For rockets, sirens, or security instructions, use official Home Front Command guidance. Do not rely on forwarded messages when official alerts are available.
Save the official source, write down the Hebrew term, and turn this section into one next action you can complete this week.
